I bought this as a direct replacement for an older Sears mower that finally hit a rock big enough to bend the crankshaft on the 6.5 B&S engine. The B&S model number scheme is not too clear about which detail features (which may or may not be important to your fitment) are available on a basic model. So I ended up choosing the "recommended" model and ordering it through Amazon, which had the (slightly) lowest price. As a commodity, there are numerous suppliers at essentially the Amazon price.
