I bought a Snapper mower approximately 2 years ago with a 12.5 HP engine. The engine had on it one of the Black and Decker "EZ oil change" devices that fit on the engine. NEVER use one of these. I maneuvered the mower around a hedge in my yard and unknowingly the EZ oil change device was opened. Since the mower is rear engine, all the oil drained out of the engine while I was happily mowing. Needless to say the engine was ruined. I figured my dealer wouldn't cover it because of the unique nature of the failure of this engine so I found this one.
